The NovaFit presentation site migrated from a 2015-era CakePHP stack to Next.js — same design, same URLs, a fraction of the weight.
The NovaFit site was running on CakePHP 2.6 + Croogo — a 2015-era stack, on PHP with no security updates, a mobile performance score of 25/100, an 8-second LCP and a CMS nobody dared touch.
A full migration to Next.js, keeping the design, the content and every URL (301s where things were restructured). A custom admin replacing Croogo, optimized images, DNS moved to Cloudflare while fully preserving mail (MX, SPF, DKIM).
Mobile performance score from 25 to 97, LCP from 8s to 2.6s, CLS from 0.506 to 0, images from 13MB to 2.3MB — the same indexed URLs and zero minutes of email downtime on launch day.
